A lot of my experiences in the "odd" are preceded by a peculiar thing that happens when I close my eyes for more than a second.
The best way I can describe it is that I have an old fashioned radar screen effect going on when I close my eyes.
Sometimes that spinning light bar turns into a recogniseable image, sometimes it just spins and spins and spins...
