Crushed each clove and peeled them (I crushed the cloves using the flat of a butcher knife and hitting it with my fist - careful to keep blade flat!!!), and
chopped off the root nub.

I put the crushed cloves in a 12 oz canning jar and covered them with about an inch of olive oil.
<br>
Placed the lid on the jar.
<br>
Placed the jar on the counter to steep.
<br>

I made this a few nights ago, but instead of frying it and serving it with the sauteed veggies, I BBQ&#39;d it as shish-k-bobs with the pork, red onions, red
and yellow bell peppers. Served it with fresh guacamole and warm tortillas!
